Pighin

Pighin produces wines from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, the northeastern Italian region celebrated for its crisp, mineral-driven whites. The winery focuses on the classic varietals of Collio: Ribolla Gialla, Friulano, and Pinot Grigio. Each brings the region's signature character—high acidity, aromatic intensity, and the subtle salinity that comes from the area's limestone-rich soils and Alpine influence. Ribolla Gialla, the flagship, offers the textural complexity and stone-fruit precision the variety is known for. Friulano delivers herbaceous notes and bright minerality, while Pinot Grigio showcases the crisp, citrus-forward profile that defines the region's expression of this widely planted grape. These wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, and Falstaff.
