Argyros produces wines from Santorini, the volcanic Cycladic island where ancient grape varieties thrive in demanding conditions. The winery's focus centers on Vinsanto, a fortified wine made from Assyrtiko, Aidani, and Athiri—grapes that have adapted to the island's mineral soils and intense sun. The Vinsanto 20 Years Barrel Aged, the Vinsanto 12 Years Barrel Aged, and the Vinsanto First Release represent the range, each a blend of these three varieties aged to different maturity. Falstaff, Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, and Decanter have all assessed the portfolio. Vinsanto itself is a traditional Santorini style: oxidative, complex, and built for extended cellaring. The wines reflect both the terroir of volcanic Santorini and the technical precision required to age fortified wines over years in barrel.
